BikeUP 2024: double event in Bergamo and Turin for the 10th Edition

The event dedicated to e-bikes and cycle tourism is back

BIKEUP 2024: THE FESTIVAL OF ELECTRIC BIKES AND GREEN MICROMOBILITY HITS THE 10-EDITION MILESTONE

The Electric Bicycle Power Festival dedicated to e-bikes, cycle tourism, and light electric mobility confirms its double appointment for 2024: from April 12th to 14th in Bergamo and from May 24th to 26th in Turin.

BikeUP - Electric Bicycle Power Festival, the first international festival on e-bikes, cycle tourism, and light electric mobility, outdoors and free of charge, is set to achieve a historic milestone.

In 2024, the event, born in 2014 in Lecco, turns 10. The anniversary is twofold as the 10th edition will take place in the center of Bergamo (April 12-13-14) and in Turin, along the Po River, between Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Corso Cairoli (May 24-25-26).

Over time, BikeUP has expanded territorially and diversified its exhibitors while maintaining its focus on "green" micromobility. The 2024 edition will also host, in addition to the main international e-bike manufacturers, bicycle tourism operators (tour operators, tourist boards, and territories), and areas for electric scooters, motorcycles, and cars. Last year, BikeUP set a record with 156 stands and 70,000 visitors over the course of 6 days.

The formula that has always characterized BikeUP is also confirmed, turning the event into a true festival: plenty of opportunities to try out electric bikes.

In Bergamo and Turin, the public can sign up for free e-bike tours designed for different models (E-mtb Front and Full, e-road & gravel bikes, trekking, cargo) to showcase the infinite possibilities that only e-bikes can offer. E-bike tours will soon be bookable online on the website www.bikeup.eu.

BikeUP 2024, in line with tradition, offers a schedule capable of engaging families. Courses and workshops are available within the kids' area dedicated to the youngest, with balance bikes for learning road safety through play, and mountain bikes for older children with instructors teaching them to ride like professionals.

Over the years, the festival has managed to establish itself as a dialogue partner for institutions and stakeholders in the mobility sector. In this regard, a conference is scheduled during the Piedmontese leg, titled "Bike to work: benefits for companies and the territory." Taking place on the opening day of May 24th, its aim is to address current issues in mobility management and guide companies and public entities to reduce environmental impact and improve mobility. The conference will also provide space for the presentation of start-ups with innovative projects on urban mobility.

Further details on the tenth edition of BikeUP will be available on the official event website www.bikeup.eu.. For more information on tours and the event, inquiries can be sent to:  info@bikeup.eu
